It’s incredibly hard, especially compared to the hardcore modes of RE2R and RE3R. I think it’s due to RE4 being a much more unpredictable and tense game. Honestly if you feel like it’s more annoying than fun I think it’d be a good choice to swap to Standard. A run through on Standard and a bit of research can make the Hardcore mode much They were going up against Call of Duty Black Ops 2, Halo 4, Assassin's Creed 3, etc. 5 and 6 are very solid made games and are very good games. But it attached Resident Evil to them, and that title reaches out to the survival horror fans. Action game wise you're going to find many titles you'll like in that genre. RE 6 is a pretty fun game. Since you also enjoy action games, I think you'll like it as well. This game was very divisive when it was released. People who don't like it say it's not a Resident Evil game. Resident Evil 5 is so fucking good (probably my 3rd favorite game of all time, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time holds 2nd place), the treasure in that game is so cool. Resident evil 6 is very good too (I didn't enjoy the Jake campaign tho), that game had a really fun mercenary in my opinion. .
